Room to Breathe
Half-acre to 1.28-acre homesites give every family rare space, privacy, and freedom to design a true estate — not a house squeezed onto a lot.
The Community
Sunset Farm Estates is a master-planned estate community of 149 homesites unfolding across four phases on roughly 153 acres at 183rd Street & Woodland Road in Spring Hill, Kansas.
The Vision
Sunset Farm Estates was conceived for families who want more room to live — and a setting worth coming home to. Rolling Kansas prairie, a central lake, and preserved open space set the stage; disciplined planning and protective covenants make sure it stays that way.
Rather than pack the land with small lots, the community was platted around its natural features. More than 15 acres are given to a central lake and detention tract, a further 16-acre reserve anchors the southeast, and stream corridors are protected with generous setbacks. The result is a neighborhood where water, tree lines, and long views are part of everyday life.
Every homesite is a canvas for a custom home built to a shared standard of quality. It is a place to put down roots, raise a family, and build something your family will carry forward — a legacy, not just an address.
Why Sunset Farm
The details that make Sunset Farm Estates feel different the moment you arrive.
Half-acre to 1.28-acre homesites give every family rare space, privacy, and freedom to design a true estate — not a house squeezed onto a lot.
A central lake and detention tract of more than 15 acres, plus a second 16-acre open-space reserve and protected stream corridors, keep long views and nature woven through the community.
Protective covenants and an architectural review process guide masonry, rooflines, and landscaping so beauty and value are preserved across every phase.
Minutes from Spring Hill's schools, shopping, and dining, with an easy drive to the greater Kansas City metro when work or play calls.
Development Phases
All 149 homesites are engineered and platted across four phases. Homesite counts below reflect the current plat; availability is shown live on the lot map.
The south-central heart of the community, framed by 183rd Street and the eastern stream corridor — the first homesites to come to life.
The north and northeast rise, gathering the largest interior estates and a run of homesites overlooking the central lake.
The southwest gateway along Woodland Road, an intimate collection of homesites near the community's main approach.
The wooded northwest, with cul-de-sac privacy, mature tree lines, and lakeside frontage on the community's open water.
18 homesites enjoy frontage or proximity to the central lake. Phasing and homesite details are subject to change as the community is built out.
Walk the homesites, take in the lake and long prairie views, and picture the home your family will build here.
